FAQ

Can I preview the film before I screen it?
Yes! You can find Bringing up Bobby in many local rental stores across the country. We do have a limited number of preview DVDs, but they are restricted to large venues and members of the press. Please contact us if you need a full DVD screener and are a large venue or member of the press.

How can we make our screening special?
Here are some fun ideas! There are a lot of foods mentioned in the movie (ice cream, milk, tuna noodle casserole, etc.). Bring food items from the movie to share! Why not host an ice cream social? Play a “War Table” game by setting up a bunch of card tables, enough for two people at each table. Come up with a bunch of discussion topics and give everyone two minutes to discuss the topic. When two minutes is up have people switch tables quickly and do another topic! It’s a great ice-breaker. The sky is the limit!

Are the filmmakers available for events?
Yes! You can schedule to have Chris and Nick Staron attend your screening! Lodging and transportation costs may apply. Please email us to arrange an appearance.

Do these prices apply to non-profit organizations?
Yes. Please contact us if you have special needs and cannot afford the fees. Otherwise, feel free to buy a license now!

How long is the license good for?
One year. You can use it in church screenings, youth groups, small groups… whatever! Be creative! Host screenings at the local pool, project it on the side of a house, run a marathon of back-to-back Bobby, etc.!

We’re not charging for a screening. Do we still have to get a license?
Yes. Unfortunately, these movies cost a lot of money to produce. It is necessary that we charge for screenings.

Is Bringing up Bobby covered by other licenses like CVLI?
Sorry, but we are not a part of any screening license package.

Do I need a license if I just want to show it to my youth group?
The license is good for an entire organization. Purchasing a license allows you to show it to any group in your church! If you cannot afford the license, please contact us to work out a deal. We want you to show the film! We are happy to work with all kinds of people.
